Mountainbiking in Bad Harzburg
Bad Harzburg is the second largest city in the district of Goslar and is located on the northern edge of the Harz mountains. If you follow the Radau valley from Bad Harzburg up towards the Hochharz, you can get to the Nationalpark Harz from Bad Harzburg and to the Brocken by mountainbike. The landscape here consists largely of mountain slopes that are covered with spruce forests. Wide views to the Harz foreland are possible from here. The mountains directly beside to the town of Bad Harzburg are predominantly wooded with deciduous forests, in which many beautiful trails are hidden. Bad Harzburg is a recommended starting point for mountainbike tours if you have no problems with long climbs.
